Jig's I plan to use for oak

Jigs

Oak is to heavy to rotate or move so I need two jigs to cut quarter sawn borads one for
vertical cuts and one for horizontal cuts. So on the first picture you can see the jig I made
with two longer peaces  of l-profile steel conected with four smaller peaces. Another
smaller steel peace is holding the saw attached to the jig with two large bolts. This jig will
glide on the borad 5cmx10cm (2" by 4") which will be attached to the log. Everything is
welded and looks and feels rigidSomthing like on the picture below.

My second jig is for horizontal cuts it's called Timberjig and I bought it from Logosol
Sweden for around Eur. 280 (USD 320) This was not cheap but the jig is very well made. You have
the scale in cm and in inches so you can easily set up the board thickness. You just unwinde
these two bolts and set the jig up or down. You have Youtube clips with Logosol Timberjig
  so you can check it.
My Stihl 070 is bigger and older saw so I had to make some modifications in order to use
the Timberjig but nothing much and now it cuts nice. Of course I had to buy ripping chain
which was around  Eur. 50 ( USD 57). The chain is original Stihl ripping chain and  I bought it
  from ebay.co.uk,

The whole opetation will look something like this below:
